Es Grau
Es Grau, an idyllic beach (590 meters long by 35 meters wide) is shaped like a shell.
Route to Es Grau: Turn off the main road Ciutadella – towards Fornells road (Me-7) and drive for about 10 kilometers following the signs.
It is lined by dunes and the area belongs to the Natural Park of S’Albufera de Es Grau. The bay is practically closed off from the sea and is protected by the D’en Colom Island. The dune system is very well preserved and a stroll along it will take you to solitary and hidden coves. The tiny fishermen’s village called Es Grau has some pleasant cafes and restaurants and is close to the sea.
In January 2016, a new wooden walkway has been added to ensure that this breathtaking and natural sandy beach is accessible for everyone !
